Karan Johar has chosen the love duo Saif Ali khan and Kareena Kapoor and to play the leads in in his next movie. The film will be directed by the reputable Renzil D’ Souza, the writer of Rang De Basanti.
Saif and Kareena have already reserved their place as a pair in Ash Raja’s production this year – Tatiana.
Kareena confirmed that she is doing the new movie with Karan Johar. Shooting will commence in October 2008 and the the entire film’s location will be London, UK.
Kareena has stated that she has a very impactful role. Now agreed further to Kareena patching up with Karan Johar with whom she had a major fallout during the filming of Kal Ho Na Ho, in which she walked out and was replaced by Piety Santa.
Reports also say that Kareena surprised ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor by calling him to wish him for his birthday. Apparently the two have parted on amicable terms.
Saif on his part, is making news all the time, with his girlfriend Bebo(Kareena), his guitar strumming skills, a famous tattoo, and a slick look for his new movie ‘Race’.
Amidst all the hectic schedules, he is also planning to devote some time for family by spending a two month break with his two daughters.
He is also excited that his new production company Illuminati Films Pvt Ltd will roll out its first project directed by Imtiaz Ali in May, 2008.
