"You ruined my career."
Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra, who met on the sets of Bigg Boss 15, are now trying to navigate their relationship outside of the show.
The couple survived fights and misunderstandings in the Bigg Boss house on more than one occasion.
Since appearing on the popular reality show, many of Karan’s fans have noticed a change in his behaviour.
Karan, who was known for his temper and impulsiveness, seems to have mellowed down.
His girlfriend Tejasswi revealed that Karan himself is surprised that he has adopted calling her “baby”, something he swore never to do in a relationship.
Tejasswi said: “Karan often tells me that he, too, gets surprised by himself as he never thought he’d ever be doing ‘baby’ talks in any relationship.
Tejasswi Prakash went on to say that Karan Kundrra jokes that all this is ruining his ‘angry young man image’.
“Karan tells me ‘My image is all ruined. I had an angry young man image. You ruined my career. Now people call me Sunny.’”
Tejasswi was the winner of Bigg Boss 15 while Karan finished as the second runner-up.
Since her exit from the show, Tejasswi has signed on as the new face of Naagin for the television show’s upcoming sixth season.
Shortly after her Bigg Boss 15 win, netizens flooded social media with allegations that the winner of Salman Khan’s show was ‘fixed’ because she had scored the lead role in another show on the same channel.
Naagin producer Ekta Kapoor responded to the allegations.
Ekta revealed that she never met Tejasswi Prakash before signing her for Naagin 6:
“I don’t think I have the power to tell a channel that I want this girl as my next Naagin.
“I found her pretty, she clearly had a lot of love from the audience and I connected to her when I saw her and that’s all that made her win.
“Poor girl, she has to constantly defend herself.”
She added: “There’s something about her eyes and I just had to cast her.
“Honestly, I’ve never met her except this show and when I gave her a narration now, I knew she would win when she got my evil eye, it went from Raqesh to Karan to her.
“I knew she would win. I felt there was some kind of luck that went to her.
“More than that I’ve done nothing.”
