Karan Kundrra has responded to the rumours that he and Tejasswi Prakash broke up.
In March 2023, he shared a cryptic tweet, triggering concerns over his and Tejasswi’s relationship.
The tweet read: “Na teri shaan kam hoti…
“Na rutba ghata hota…
“Jo ghamand mein kaha…
“Wahi hass ke kaha hota…”
It did not go down well with fans, who thought this was an indirect jibe at his girlfriend Tejasswi Prakash.
One said: “If this is not attention seeking then idk what is!
“Who comes to social media to shade his GF when he could have literally just picked up his phone or cleared things out in person?!
“Just making a mockery out of the relationship. Sick.”
Others were concerned that the relationship had hit a rocky patch.
Questioning why Karan decided to air their apparent problems in public, another said:
“Actually disappointing is knowing your GF for two years and then judging her on basis of a fan clip shared by squads and shading her on Twitter is worse.
“At least give her a chance to explain, let her come, talk in private and solve your s**t.”
Karan has now broken his silence on the matter, stating that he might share poetry that he likes. But he urged his fans that they should not link them to his personal life.
He said: “If I write any poetic message, it is because I want to share it. I listened to it on the radio and wrote it.
“This has no relation to Teju (Tejasswi). Why will there be? She is my girlfriend. I will not write even for my ex.”
Karan went on to say that people react to their social media interaction.
“If Tejasswi puts up a picture and if I’m in the shot and we shoot very nearby each other.
“In four hours, I would have some thousand comments asking ‘why has he not liked the picture’, and ‘who else is going to like it’.”
“I chose the outfit, I was there, and I was literally clicking pictures for her.
“It’s very interesting because life is not all about social media. People just come up with their own conclusions.”
Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash have been together since appearing on Bigg Boss 15 together.
Tejasswi is currently seen in the popular fantasy TV show Naagin 6 while Karan features in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal.
