Popular celebrity Shehnaaz Gill is reported to take part in Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp.
The upcoming show, produced by Ekta Kapoor, claims to be the biggest ever on streaming platforms.
It is also said to be controversial as 16 celebrities are locked up in prison for 72 days, stripped of all amenities.
Besides being filmed 24×7, the power lies with the audience.
Not only do the viewers have 50% of the voting power, but they can also directly interact with the contestants and reward or punish.
The rest of the voting power lies with Kangana, who will be hosting the show.
Throughout the show, contestants will have to perform tasks and will also have a celebrity jailor to keep an eye on them.
Now, it has been reported that Shehnaaz Gill will be a contestant on Lock Upp.
A source told BollywoodLife: “Shehnaaz Gill has been approached to be part of Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp and she even agreed to do it.
“Shehnaaz is right now going through the rough phase in life and she wants to stay away from the media glare and the world for a while and this is the best opportunity for her.
“Also, Shehnaaz has won millions of hearts and she will be one of the strongest contestants in the house and will definitely get some special power to be in the Lock Upp.”
The source went on to say that Shehnaaz will be determined to succeed on the show.
“Shehnaaz rose like a phoenix in the most difficult challenge that life threw at her.
“And this show will be a cakewalk for her.
“It will be other contestants who will have fear and she is the strongest and the most popular face on TV right now.”

The first contestant announced was Poonam Pandey.
