Karan Johar requests Akshay Kumar to Delay Jolly LLB 3?

It is reported that Karan Johar has requested Akshay Kumar to postpone the release of Jolly LLB 3.

The third instalment of the courtroom drama is slated to release on April 10, 2025.

However, the apparent calls for it to be delayed are because the release would be close to Karan’s biopic on C Sankaran Nair, which will also star Akshay.

The biopic is set to release on March 14.

Karan Johar’s film will highlight Nair’s brave legal battle against the British Empire to acknowledge the horrors of that tragic event.

It examines the 1924 defamation trial in which Michael O’Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, was sued by C Sankaran Nair.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film aims to deliver a compelling courtroom drama, with Akshay taking on the lead role.
