Is Deepika Frustrated with Comments about her Fashion?

Bollywood star Deepika Padrone has shared her annoyance at the constant comments regarding her fashion choices.

She is known for her classic and elegant looks which are enhanced by her charm. Yet, she remains confused with what viewers expect of her.

There is no doubt that Deepika pulls of whatever she chooses to wear but not everyone appreciates her style.

Deepika Padukone has experimented with various looks, from airport chic to her 2019 IIFA look.

Despite her more casual to bold ensembles, not everyone is supportive of her style. They take it upon themselves to make sure they voice their dislike of her fashion decisions.

As a result of this, a social media frenzy occurs with fans constantly commenting back and forth about it.

According to India Forums, she explained her frustration. The actress said:

“I wear a white shirt and blue jeans and everyone’s like so boring, why can’t she try something fun.”

She continued to mention the comparison with her husband, Ranveer Singh:

“And then when I try something fun they are like oh now she’s trying to be like her husband. She should just stick to doing the classic stuff that she always does.

“What do you want?”

Asking how her family dynamic works concerning Ranveer’s fashion choices she explained:

“When he’s with my parents, that’s (white shirt and blue trousers) his look. Otherwise, he’s not allowed to enter the house.

“So, if it’s a professional commitment and my parents happen to be there then they have to make peace with what he’s wearing.

“But if it’s a specific event, there is a separate Padukone family wardrobe which is black pants, blue jeans, white crisp shirt, round next t-shirt. So, there’s a black, white, grey colour palette.”

Deepika Padukone has always been a role model for many fans.

She has openly discussed her battle with depression, anxiety and how she overcomes this to gain mental stability.

During a previous interview, Deepika highlighted the need to help others who succumb to social pressures. She states:

“I wanted people to know my truth. Now, not a single day goes by that people aren’t comfortable to talk to me about their mental health. And I give them my time. There’s nothing more important than that, to listen.”

As a renowned actress, it is difficult for Deepika Padukone to please everyone with her taste in fashion.

She should continue to experiment and be confident because that is the beauty of fashion.
