"#AneetPadda as #ShaktiShalini.”
Horror-comedy Thamma is set to release on October 21, 2025, but a viral image that is said to be part of the film’s post-credit scene is gaining traction.
A social media post has claimed that the post-credit scene will feature Aneet Padda as Shakti Shalini.
The viral image shows a woman dressed in a white lehenga, gazing into a bright light.
Although the woman’s face cannot be seen, the caption read:
“#AneetPadda as #ShaktiShalini. Post credit scene #Thamma.”
The authenticity of the image remains unverified but it sparked discussion, with some excited at the prospect that Aneet will feature in Thamma.
Others were sceptical, stating that the image was fake.

The rumours have since gained momentum with Thamma’s impending release.
Adding to the speculation, Bollywood Hungama reported that cinemagoers watching Thamma will be treated to the official announcement video for Shakti Shalini.
The studio plans to premiere the clip with every screening across India, marking Aneet Padda’s formal introduction in the much-anticipated lead role.
It was also reported that Aneet Padda had replaced Kiara Advani following creative changes at Maddock Films.
Sources cited by the outlet said producers were impressed by Aneet’s performance in Saiyaara and saw her as the ideal choice to lead the franchise.
While Maddock Films has kept details of Shakti Shalini under wraps, the reported announcement is expected to showcase Padda’s transformation into a modern superhero.
Meanwhile, the alleged leak has fuelled belief that it was part of a larger promotional rollout.
Whether intentional or not, the image has successfully drawn eyes toward Maddock’s Diwali release and heightened anticipation for its post-credit surprise.
For Aneet Padda, the speculation marks a turning point in her career.
Aneet is coming off the success of Saiyaara and if confirmed, Shakti Shalini would position her at the centre of Maddock Films’ next major movie.
Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, Thamma follows a historian-turned-vampire who must embrace his dark legacy to stop a rogue bloodline.
Thamma is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, which includes the likes of Stree and Bhediya.
As audiences prepare for Thamma’s release, all eyes will be on the credits and what follows.
