Aneet Padda called her Saiyaara co-star Ahaan Panday “one of the best men in the world” during an emotional awards speech.
It comes amid continued speculation over their relationship.
The rising stars were in Delhi as they were named Gen Z Icons of the Year 2025.
During their speech, they highlighted their bond and the support they have received throughout their journey.
Aneet thanked Ahaan and grew visibly emotional.
She said: “Thank you to my co-actor and my best friend, Ahaan Panday.
“You guys don’t realise the number of times it’s been really difficult on set, and he’s always had my back. So thank you so much.
“And it’s the best feeling in the world to be on this stage with one of the best men in the world.”
Ahaan grew emotional listening to her speak, and the two celebrated the moment by dancing together before sharing a warm embrace.
Ahaan thanked his family, friends and the team behind Saiyaara.
He acknowledged director Mohit Suri, producer Aditya Chopra and casting director Shanoo Sharma for giving him his break.
Ahaan said: “Everyone who’s helped me, and the whole team of Saiyaara, the film crew, I know how thankless the job is, so thank you.
“Without y’all, it wouldn’t have been possible. And all of you, always, the press, the audience, this means the world.”
Aneet’s speech went viral and fans gave their thoughts.
One said: “They are cute. I don’t care at this point if it’s PR or whatever. After a long time, we have someone in Bollywood to ship for.”

Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday have been at the centre of relationship rumours for months, with fans closely analysing their off-screen chemistry.
Ahaan recently addressed the speculation and clarified that he is currently single:
“Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not.
“Chemistry isn’t always romantic; it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen.”
“We’ve both made each other feel that. Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet.”
On the work front, Ahaan Panday is preparing to begin filming a romantic actioner with Ali Abbas Zafar, which is reportedly set to co-star Sharvari Wagh and Aaishvary Thackeray.
