"Feel terrible for kids around these reel monsters."
An Indian woman has sparked backlash for smoking while carrying a child in her arms.
The viral clip was shared on X and showed the woman puffing away while the child coughed.
The hit song ‘O Bangla Gaadi Jhumke‘ from Chhupa Rustom (2001) played in the background.
The journalist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj shared the video.
She wrote: “Feel terrible for kids around these reel monsters.
“PS – It’s not her child. Scanned her TL to see if there’s more abuse but this kid isn’t seen in other reels.
“She must have taken someone’s child.
“Just like Kuwari Begum asked people to take others’ infants and sexually abuse them.”
Deepika also shared a screenshot of the Indian woman sending messages to her for sharing the clip.
The journalist captioned the post: “It is indeed not her child.
“Now she’s blaming me for outing her with this even more bizarre explanation for her act.”

According to the messages, the Indian woman asked: “Why are you spreading such negativity against me without knowing anything?”
Deepika replied: “What is there to know? Can you not see the child being so uncomfortable? And coughing?”
The smoker asked: “Did you reality?”
Deepika shot back: “What reality? It’s visible in the video. You’re smoking while the child is in your arms.
“What reality and justification is there for this?”
Replying to Deepika’s observation about coughing, the Indian woman said:
“He is coughing for the last two weeks and he is my sister’s baby.
“I am the one who took medicine for him.”
Netizens wasted no time in voicing their disgust at the video clip.
One commented: “Around the 10-second mark, it can be clearly seen that the kid is coughing and visibly uncomfortable due the cigarette smoke.
“This is child abuse! Hope strict action is taken soon.”
Another added: “This should STOP!!
“Secondhand smoke can have a devastating impact on babies, increasing their risk of sudden infant death syndrome, respiratory issues, ear infections, and even affecting their brain development.
“It’s like a toxic cloud hovering over them, wreaking havoc on their tiny bodies.”
In her original post, Deepika referred to Kuwari Begum.
In June 2024, the YouTuber was arrested for promoting child sex abuse.
Deepika was also the one who called out Begum’s content on X.
She stated: “PAEDOPHILE ALERT. This lady from Ghaziabad is teaching young boys how to sexually abuse infants.
“She has deleted her profiles but I am sure you can still trace her.
“Please act before she actually harms a child.”
