Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad made their first public appearance as a couple at Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash.
Surrounded by several other big stars, there could have been no better place than Karan Johar’s birthday to make this much-awaited announcement as the couple became the centre of attention while posing on the red carpet.
With their eyes locked, Saba Azad stunned in a black, satin dress and Hrithik Roshan charmed netizens in his classic black suit.
As per NDTV, the two had initially interacted on Twitter when Hrithik Roshan shared a post starring his current sweetheart in a video with a rapper.
Saba Azad then responded with a message of gratitude.
The two began talking soon after and it was not long before the sparks emerged.
The couple’s relationship prospects had been under constant speculation from tabloids due to various instances of affection on social media and being spotted together on several occasions.
While their relationship was confirmed in February 2022, it was not until Karan Johar’s birthday bash that the couple elated fans with their glamorous red carpet appearance.
Saba Azad, a singer who is also known for her 2011 film, Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, has been spotted at her gig with Hrithik’s ex-wife, Sussanne Khan and has spent time with his family as well.
The Bollywood actor’s uncle and music composer, Rajesh Roshan took to Instagram to share a Sunday lunch family photo which featured the couple.
The post was captioned: “Happiness is always around… Especially on a Sunday, specifically at lunchtime.”
While the couple refrain from giving out any personal details, BollywoodLife cited a source stating the two aimed for a love like Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar.
The duo’s endearing exchanges on Instagram have not gone unnoticed, specifically under Saba’s post promoting her new immigrant drama Minimum, as Hrithik Roshan commented with words of encouragement and Saba Azad responded to him as “mon amour”.
Such hints of affection have indeed acted as a testament to this new Bollywood love.
Karan Johar hosted his 50th birthday party at his home in Bandra, with several celebrities attending.
The likes of Gauri Khan, Farah Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Apoorva Mehta, Maheep Kapoor, Sohail Khan’s ex-wife, Seema Kiran Sajdeh, and others attended the event.
In addition to his get-together, Karan hosted a grand party at Yash Raj Studios.
He reportedly appointed filmmaker Amrita Mahal to design the decor for his grand birthday bash.
All the top names from the film industry celebrated the big day with Karan Johar.
On the work front, Hrithik Roshan will be next seen in Fighter with Deepika Padukone.
The film is being directed by Siddharth Anand. Saba Azad was last seen in Rocket Boys.
