Basketball player Eban Hyams’ latest Instagram post may have revealed the reason behind his shock split with Tiger Shroff’s sister, Krishna Shroff.
Taking to Instagram stories, Eban Hyams shared a cryptic post about long-distance affecting relationships.
The basketball player is currently in Australia while Krishna is with her family in India.
He wrote:
“Distance should never effect real friendships. It’s always love regardless.”
Last week, Krishna shocked her fans when she announced that she was no longer with her boyfriend, Eban Hyams.
Krishna requested her fans to not tag her with Eban in their posts. She said:
“All you fan clubs are cute and all. But please stop tagging me in edits with Eban. We aren’t together anymore.
“So stop associating us. Letting you all know since it was so public.”
Since then, she has deleted all her pictures with her former boyfriend on Instagram.
The former couple first met at Soho House in Mumbai on May 11, 2019. Krishna and Eban instantly hit it off and started dating a month later.
They even celebrated their one-year anniversary of their first meeting this year in May 2020.
To celebrate the special occasion, Krishna and Eban answered questions from their fans.
One fan asked whether Krishna and Eban had tied the knot. In response, Eban revealed that a wedding was “on the cards.” He said:
“If we were, we would be wearing a ring, right? But it’s definitely on the cards.”
Another fan commented saying Krishna is the “hottest woman on earth.”
Reacting to the same, Eban said: “She’s taken bro” while laughing.
“Thank you, but taken”, Krishna added.
The former couple set many major couple goals for their fans. Krishna and Eban also celebrated New Years with a romantic getaway.
They shared numerous adorable pictures together on Instagram. In fact, Krishna’s brother, Tiger Shroff even reacted to them.
During their holiday, Krishna shared a picture of the couple kissing along with a caption professing her love for Eban. She wrote:
“Always making me laugh. Grateful to have met my best friend, twin soul and love this year.”
In true brother style, Tiger cringed at his sister’s post. He even jokingly commented:
“Eban … poor guy.”
During the lockdown, Eban spent most of his time with Krishna at her Mumbai home.
Later, Krishna flew to Australia to spend time with Eban and his family.
However, it seems their love could not withstand the strain of the long-distance keeping the former lovers apart.
