“Dur-e-Fishan should dress according to her body size.”

Dur-e-Fishan Saleem was captured on camera in London, however, she was subjected to body shaming by viewers.

The actress had been strolling along Oxford Street with family members when a fan decided to film her without her knowledge.

In one clip, Dur-e-Fishan found a street performer singing the OST of Ishq Murshid.

She captured the moment on her phone before continuing on with her journey.

The actress was seen wearing beige slacks and a black shirt. However, social media users were quick to comment on her appearance.

Some made disparaging remarks about her weight and choice of clothing.

One person commented: “Dur-e-Fishan should dress according to her body size.”

Another wrote: “The actress has gained so much weight and is walking around in body-hugging clothes.”

One questioned: “How can she expect to wear such clothes and not be body shamed?

“I don’t understand why these people wear such clothes. She looks so pretty in her Desi look.”

Some netizens even suggested that the video was orchestrated.

Many people came to Dur-e-Fishan’s defence, with one commenting:

“It is her body. No one has a right to dictate what she does with it. No one should have a problem with her weight.”

Another commented: “She has a certain body type and she has embraced it. What’s the issue?”

One remarked: “I fail to understand the mentality of those who shame anyone. What are you yourself? Mere keyboard warriors.”

Another stated:

“Commenting on someone’s dressing is different but commenting on someone’s body type and shaming them is so wrong.”

Others hit out at the fan for filming Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, stressing the importance of respecting personal boundaries, even in public spaces.

A full-length video appeared to show the fan following and filming actress for a considerable amount of time.

Comments from social media users criticised the individual’s actions.

One user said: “This seems to be an absolutely non-ethical way to make this video, even she and the others didn’t realise what’s happening on their back. Shame.”

Another wrote: “This is stalking. Let them live normal lives.”

The incident brought attention to the importance of privacy and respect for individuals, regardless of their public status.
