The Aura World Tour has seen Diljit perform across international venues

Diljit Dosanjh brought his highly anticipated Aura World Tour to Birmingham on Friday, September 18, performing at Utilita Arena as part of his UK tour.

The Punjabi singer and actor performed for fans across the city, continuing a major run of UK dates following his historic Wembley Stadium concert earlier this month.

The Birmingham show featured Diljit’s energetic performance style, Punjabi music and visuals, and it gave fans another chance to see the singer live after his record-breaking London appearance.

One of the memorable moments of the evening came when Diljit invited two construction workers onto the stage after learning they had arrived at the concert directly after finishing a long shift.

The pair had reportedly travelled to the arena after completing their work, making the effort to attend the concert despite their demanding day.

Diljit took a moment during the performance to acknowledge them and thank them for spending their hard-earned money on tickets to see him.

He then bowed down in front of the workers as a gesture of respect, creating an emotional moment during the Birmingham show.

The singer also signed their sweatshirts before giving them gifts and taking a selfie with them on stage.

The interaction added a personal moment to the large-scale concert, with Diljit taking time away from the main performance to recognise two fans who had made the journey after work.

The Birmingham concert followed Diljit’s Wembley Stadium performance on September 12, where he became the first Punjabi artist to headline the iconic London venue.

His Wembley appearance marked another significant moment in his international career, coming as Punjabi music continues to reach audiences beyond South Asia.

The Aura World Tour has seen Diljit perform across international venues, with the UK leg bringing his live show to some of the country’s biggest arenas.

Following his Birmingham performance, Diljit is scheduled to continue the UK leg with a show at Co-op Live in Manchester on September 20.

Friday night’s show combined Diljit’s large-scale production with several personal moments.

The concert also marked a significant period for the singer, who has been performing to audiences across the UK following his Wembley Stadium milestone.

With further UK dates still to come, Diljit Dosanjh’s Aura World Tour continues to bring his Punjabi music and live performances to audiences across the country.
