Resonate was created to address barriers to entry

Dialled Industry has opened applications for the third edition of its Resonate creative residency, supporting emerging South Asian musicians and producers across the UK.

Funded by PRS Foundation and Arts Council England, the fully funded 10-day residency will take place at Migration Studios from August 4-13, 2026.

The programme will bring together three selected artists to develop live performance and production skills. They will receive mentorship, collaboration opportunities, and dedicated studio support throughout the residency.

Resonate was created to address barriers to entry within music and the wider creative industries.

It forms part of Dialled Industry’s mission to build accessible pathways for South Asian creatives and amplify underrepresented voices.

The residency is open to UK-based South Asian musicians and producers aged 18 and over. Applicants must have released at least four songs or an EP of original work.

They must also submit a creative concept outlining the project they plan to develop during the residency. Applications should include details of their artistic identity and what differentiates their work.

The deadline for applications is June 12, 2026.

Artists are advised to check Dialled In social channels for updates and submission guidance.

One selected artist will perform at an international showcase. The remaining two will perform at a future Dialled In event.

Past residents Hasznat, Lotus Phaze and Baria will also perform at Dialled In London’s 5th Birthday in Dalston.

All programme costs, including studio access, mentorship and residency support, are fully covered by funding from PRS Foundation and Arts Council England.

Speaking on the return of the programme, Dialled In’s co-founders said:

“Resonate has shown us what’s possible when you build a programme around the artists rather than the industry.”

“Two years in, we’ve seen musicians come through our doors and leave with recordings, confidence, and a sense of belonging that simply didn’t exist for them before.”

Launched under the wider Dialled In umbrella, Dialled Industry continues its focus on South Asian talent through mentorship, workshops and community-led programming.

Since 2021, Dialled In has become a leading UK platform for alternative South Asian culture.

It has delivered projects including the ARRIVALS stage at Glastonbury Festival, international residencies across South Asia, and events at the Southbank Centre and Union Chapel.

Dialled Industry and Resonate sit within a wider ecosystem of South Asian talent development. This includes Dialled In Records, focused on building long-term creative careers.

Applications for Resonate are now open via Dialled In’s website and social channels.
