Faisal Saif

Faisal is well known for his honest critique of Indian cinema, adopting a ‘no sugar-coat’ method in all his articles and reviews.

With such a no nonsense attitude, it will be interesting to see how he interacts with the other celebrity contestants within the house, when he reportedly makes his entrance on November 22, 2014.

Dedicated to exposing the reality of cinema and the film industry, as a director, Saif released his first film in 2006 called Jigyaasa. Based around a true story, it is about a young girl who is determined to do whatever it takes to become a successful film actress.

Faisal Saif Despite writing for various news portals, Faisal is no stranger to making headlines himself. The director was recently caught in some new controversy over his latest film, Main Hoon Rajinikanth.

Set to release in December 2014, the film hit a few snags after Tamil superstar Rajinikanth issued a court order over the use of his name and image without his permission.

The film has now been renamed to Main Hoon Rajini. In a statement, Faisal reportedly said:

“My film’s release date was very near and my producer’s money was at stake. I had no options but to change its title to Main Hoon Rajini. We are also in process of trademarking our new title.

“I am still ready to face the scenario and show the world that a name is just an identity and not a property. But since I cannot be a reason for loss to my producers and I don’t want to hurt Rajini Sir as even I am one of his craziest fans, I took this decision.”

But now with the chance of meeting the ‘Queen of the Tabloids’, Kim Kardashian, in the Bigg Boss house, things are looking up for Faisal.

The director also received warm wishes from former Bigg Boss contestant Pooja Misrra (Season 5).

Pooja MisrraPooja, who is a close friend of Saif’s, was working on his upcoming film Amma (2015) before leaving the project after she no longer felt the role suited her.

The decision caused a slight rift in the pair’s friendship, but Pooja has since broken the stalemate on her Facebook page, by saying:

“After all the love – hate banter, Here is wishing my friend and colleague Faisal Saif all the best for his stay in Big Bosses House!”

The actress and FHM cover girl, has been intently watching Bigg Boss 8 from day one and has being giving expert advice to Faisal on who to trust and who not to.

But with Saif’s ‘no sugar-coat’ attitude in hand, we can be certain that he will make a big impression inside the house! Saif will be the 5th wildcard entrant for season 8.

We at DESIblitz wish our former Bollywood writer, Faisal Saif the very best of luck in Bigg Boss 8!
