The women of Bollywood descended on Dubai for the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night 2022 for an evening of sparkle and glamour.
As a slew of glitzy female celebrities flocked to the World Trade Centre for the Filmfare event, Bollywood came calling to Dubai, putting on a show-dance extravaganza that rivalled a glittering Broadway musical.
Women of all different artistic backgrounds turned out together, with seasoned performers like Hema Malini, known as Bollywood’s perpetual “dream girl.”
The event was attended by Bollywood’s dream women such as Sunny Leone, Shehnaaz Gill, Jahnvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Vaani Kapoor and others.

Sunny Leone
Sunny Leone wowed in an exuberant Michael Cinco gown.
The actress was styled by designer and stylist Hitendra Kapopara.
The hybrid colour of the highly embellished sequin dress starts as a bright blue and merges into a bright green colour.
The gown accentuated her long legs with a daringly high split. The high neckline also spotlighted her assets with a cheeky oval cut-out on her chest.
The floating arms of the grown trailed either side of Sunny Leone – also falling majestically to her sides and onto the red carpet.
She matched her look with a pair of plain nude strappy heels.
The jewellery by Bling Vine for the look was kept with a minimal touch – a simple silver chain bracelet, and small silver hoop earrings.
The entire outfit was completed with a slick-back high-pony hairstyle, accentuating the high neckline of the dress, and a classic Hollywood make-up look – allowing her statement dress to do all the talking.
Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor stole the show in a classy, timeless Faraz Manan gown.
The star was styled by creative consultant and fashion stylist, Tanya Ghavri.
The low-cut neckline gown featured one strap accentuating Janhvi’s neck and collarbones.
The bust of the dress was embellished with white pearls, matched with the champagne, silk dress – giving a retro, Hollywood feel.
The long dress featured a thigh-high split leg, highlighting the star’s long glistening legs.
Janhvi matched the look with embellished, nude open-toe heels, and a pair of pearl earrings – matching the bust of her dress.
Hair styled by Amit Thakur and makeup by Riviera Lynn tied the glamorous look together.
Janhvi modelled a high slick back bun with a side-part fringe to compliment the gown.
Makeup artist Riviera Lynn gave the actress a simple glam look, accentuating her big lips with a brown/pink shade of lipstick and giving her a sultry mauve eye look.
Janhvi Kapoor who also gave a hit performance at the event was awarded the ‘Youth Icon of Bollywood’ at the Filmfare Achievers Night 2022.
Tejasswi Prakash
Tejasswi Prakash won hearts in a contemporary John and Ananth dress.
The actress was styled by fashion consultant and stylist Shaleena Nathani.
The silk blue gown featured thick shoulder straps to accentuate the structured bust area.
Tejasswi’s dress featured a simple, gold embellished belt which highlighted her trim waistline.
The dress flowed down into a wrap-style skirt showing off her legs with a thigh-high split.
Blue silk was pleated on either side of the gown, gracefully forming a train on the red carpet.
The star’s gold and silver dangling earrings by Radhika Agrawal Jewels gave a statement, matching the embellished waist-belt of the dress.
The outfit was tied together with dark silver embellished strappy heels.
Tejasswi opted for a simple hair and makeup look, with straightened, middle-parted hair pinned behind her ears.
Makeup by Shaina gave the star a classic nude soft glam, leaving all the attention on her dress and jewellery.

Bhumi Pednekar
Bhumi Pednekar wowed in a Rami Kadi Maison de Couture gown.
The star was styled by celebrity stylist Chandini Whabi.
The elegant white embellished gown dazzled Bhumi’s tan skin tone.
The dress featured a thigh-high slit, and structured drape across the middle, highlighting her curves and legs.
Bhumi’s contemporary gown was styled with semi-sheer white gloves which included extravagant feathers featured on her forearms.
With platform heels trending in fashion, Bhumi modelled silver platform heels to add some fun to her ensemble.
The actress finished her complete look for the event with Hollywood-style curls and a simple sultry makeup look – eyes were certainly remaining on her dress.
Bhumi was awarded the ‘Mould Breaker of the Year’ award at the Filmfare 2022 event.
Vaani Kapoor
Vaani Kapoor looked like a million dollars in a Faraz Mannan outfit.
The Indian actress was styled by fashion stylist Mohit Rai.
The highly embellished black and stone-coloured dress was unique compared to a lot seen at the Filmfare event.
Vaani’s dress was a three-piece set.
A black, low-cut sequin bralette was the star of the outfit, raising temperatures with a glimpse of Vaani’s cleavage.
This featured a nude maxi tube skirt which was embellished in cross-stitched black sequins, following the theme of the rest of the outfit.
A black embellished jacket tied the outfit together, this was fitted to her upper body and draped into a long train – giving a classy vibe.
The actress opted for a simple sultry makeup glam, allowing her natural features to shine.
Similarly, with her simple makeup, Vaani chose to lightly curl her brown hair, leaving all attention on her eye-grabbing outfit.
