A shrug in the winter can add vertical lines to an outfit

Fashion bloggers and models make fashion look so easy and attainable but you know that is not always the case.

One small mistake can ruin your entire wardrobe look.

Previously, you always needed to beware of looking outdated, off the discount racks or just simply boring.

The good news is that now almost everything is in! You just need to mix and match it the right way.

If you want to elevate your look, you must use the right accessories.

Belts, shoes, watches, scarves and most importantly dainty jewellery complete a good outfit.

Nude-coloured heels and shoes add height to the wearer; watches and scarves add a feminine touch to the ensemble.

A shrug in the winter can add vertical lines to an outfit, which adds height and makes the wearer look slender.

Do not underestimate the power of the right shoes. The right pair of shoes can either make or break your entire outlook.

One should be mindful to steer clear of donning foot accessories that are out of vogue.

Kitten heels, wedges, clunky clogs and stilettos all look good depending on the outfit and can add length and elegance to the wearer.

Nude-coloured shoes are a good trick to add some extra inches to the legs when the wearer is petite so it’s a good idea to explore that option if necessary.

Wearing too many bold colours is not recommended, especially if you are trying something new.

But don’t keep yourself away from colours completely. It’s best to look for neutral colours that you can mix and match easily in the beginning.

Neutral colours make clothing pieces versatile and work with any outfit. Choose a few colourful pieces once you feel comfortable to add a twist to your wardrobe.

Most importantly, listen to yourself.

You are the first person who knows what feels right for you. Make sure to listen to your intuition as much as you can to understand what you like and what doesn’t suit you.

Remember that dressing well is a skill that you can improve over time.

It’s normal if you feel overwhelmed in the beginning. You can get better at styling yourself with some practice.

To start searching for your best look, adopt a positive attitude and pay close attention to how you feel. If you work through it, you will refine your fashion style with time and experience.

Start building your confidence with the right attitude. This mindset shift alone is sure to improve your look and make you more attractive in no time
