"it’s amazing to see so many fantastic restaurants lined up"
Birmingham Restaurant Festival is back this summer, offering food lovers exclusive lunch and dinner menus at standout prices throughout August.
Now in its fourth year, the city-wide celebration highlights Birmingham’s diverse food scene with a carefully curated selection of restaurants across the city and suburbs.
The festival will return from August 1 to 31.
Alex Nicholson-Evans, Founder and Director of organisers Living For The Weekend, said:
“I’m so excited that Birmingham Restaurant Festival is back to showcase the very best of our city’s culinary scene for a fourth year.
“We’re revealing our biggest preview list to date and it’s amazing to see so many fantastic restaurants lined up to take part.
“There are plenty more still to come and we can’t wait to share those with foodies from Birmingham and beyond in the coming months.”
Among the first venues announced are four restaurants voted by diners as festival favourites last year:
- 670 Grams, led by Michelin-trained Kray Treadwell, is known for creative tasting menus using top-quality local ingredients.
- Lasan, a fine-dining Indian restaurant with bold, modern twists on classic dishes.
Trentina, a neighbourhood pasta spot praised for seasonal antipasti and handmade specials. - Bistro at Hotel Du Vin, serving timeless French food with a contemporary edge.
More big names in the city centre include sky-high fine dining at Orelle, modern Chinese at Tattu, and Bombay café-style plates at Dishoom.
Diners can also visit Asha’s, a favourite among celebrities, and Tiger Bites Pig, now in a new home for its famous bao and rice bowls.
In the Jewellery Quarter, highlights include Michelin Good Food Guide favourite Txikiteo, live music venue The Jam House, and historic pub restaurant The Church.
Over in Edgbaston, meat lovers can head to Fiesta Del Asado for Argentinian barbecue, or opt for seasonal British dishes at Chapter.
Other names on the growing list include Primitivo, The Alchemist, Gaucho, Zindiya, Milan Indian Cuisine, Bhancha, Chaophraya, Chung Ying Cantonese, Zocala, Malmaison Bar & Grill, The Woods, Aluna, Siamais, Lulu Wild, Inju, and Saint Pauls House.
Exclusive festival menus will be revealed, and reservations will open on June 19. Walk-ins may be possible at some venues, but reservations are recommended. No tickets or wristbands are needed.
