Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan revealed his eldest son Aryan Khan once “beat up a girl” for calling SRK “fat”.

This takes us back to 2007 when Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om newly hit the silver screen.

Fans of the star remember SRK when he took off his shirt and flaunted his amazing six-pack abs in the film.

There is no denying Shah Rukh Khan looked his all-time best in Om Shanti Om (2007).

Yet, the Badshah of Bollywood revealed one of the reasons why he decided to attain a ripped physique was his son Aryan.

Speaking to host Karan Johar on his popular talk show, Koffee with Karan, SRK made this shocking revelation.

Aryan Khan, who was nine-years-old at the time of the incident, lashed out because a girl called his father “fat”. Shah Rukh Khan said:

“My son feels I am fat. He beat up a girl. First, she called me an ‘a**hole’. He didn’t react.

“Then she said I looked ugly in Kaun Banega Crorepati but he didn’t react and controlled himself.”

SRK continued to mention that Aryan lost his temper when she poked fun at his size. He explained:

“Finally, when she said, ‘Your father is fat’, he kicked her. I got angry with him and he said, ‘Papa, it’s not her fault. It’s you. Why are you fat?

“You are not ugly, I didn’t mind. You look handsome on KBC. You’re not an a**hole, I know. You’re a cool guy. But you are fat, papa.’”

As a result of this, Shah Rukh Khan was determined to shed the pounds. His hard work paid off as he flaunted his six-pack abs in the song, ‘Dard-e-Disco’ from the hit film, Om Shanti Om (2007).

Seven years later in 2014, Shah Rukh Khan showed off his chiselled eight-pack abs in the film, Happy New Year.

It appears Aryan Khan’s unfortunate fight helped motivate Shah Rukh Khan to get into shape.

Recently, SRK interacted with his fans on Twitter. His fans bombarded him with questions about his next film.

SRK who has not signed a film since 2018, last starring in Zero, replied in his true witty style. He said:

We continue to wait for SRK to reveal his highly-anticipated next Bollywood film.
