Armaan Malik has been nominated for ‘Best India Act’ for the 2024 MTV EMA.
For the 2024 edition, the MTV Europe Music Awards, which celebrates music and artists across the world, will be held in Manchester.
A two-time MTV EMA winner, Armaan Malik’s nomination is for his single ‘Always’, which features British singer-songwriter Calum Scott.
Reacting to the nomination, Armaan said:
“I’m beyond ecstatic to be nominated once again for the MTV EMA’s ‘Best India Act’.
“Having won this honour twice before, this third nomination feels especially meaningful.
“As an Indian artiste, representing my country on such a prestigious global stage is both humbling and surreal.
“There are so many incredible artists alongside me, and I wish everyone the best of luck! Now, it’s over to the fans and the MTV EMA voters.”
Armaan shared a post of the nomination and encouraged fans to vote.
Many stated that they quickly voted for the singer upon seeing his post.
One wrote: “I have already voted for you Armaan.”
Another said: “Congratulations Armaan. You are gonna bring this home once again.”

Armaan won his first MTV EMA in 2020 for his debut English single ‘Control’.
His second win came two years later in 2022 for ‘You’, another English language hit.
Meanwhile, ‘Always’ showcases Armaan’s versatility and ability to seamlessly blend different musical styles, further solidifying his position as a global music sensation.
The nomination comes a few days after he announced he had officially submitted ‘Always’ for Grammy consideration.
‘Always’ has been submitted for ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’, ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Record of the Year’.
With the nomination and Grammy’s submission, Armaan Malik continues to cement his position as a leading voice in both Indian and international music.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift dominates the 2024 MTV EMA nominations with seven.
The event takes place at the Co-op Live Arena on November 10.
Now in its 30th year, this is the first time that the MTV EMA will be staged in Manchester and also marks its return to the UK for the first time since 2017.
Rita Ora is reportedly set to host the 2024 event, having hosted the 2017 awards at London’s Wembley Arena.
The MTV EMA will broadcast at 9 pm on MTV UK, Channel 5 and Pluto TV.
It will be available on demand on Paramount+ from November 12.
