“Finally, a natural beauty debut with a real aura.”
Aneet Padda made a dazzling debut on the ramp as she walked for Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani during his grand finale show at Lakmé Fashion Week.
The Saiyaara star marked her first-ever runway appearance in style, embodying poise, grace, and effortless glamour.
The crowd erupted with applause as Aneet glided down the runway, her confidence shining through every step.
Inspired by the timeless beauty of Indian drapes, Aneet’s golden sequin ensemble was a reimagined saree with a couture twist.
The look, part of Tarun Tahiliani’s latest collection ‘Bejewelled’, perfectly captured his signature fusion of tradition and modernity.
Aneet’s outfit shimmered under the lights, its sculpted silhouette blending elegance and sensuality.
The actor owned the stage with her radiant smile and natural charisma, easily becoming one of the evening’s standout moments.
For accessories, Aneet opted for diamond-adorned bracelets and a statement ring that complemented her gold attire.
Her hair was styled in a soft centre-parted blowout, enhancing her youthful glow.
The makeup was striking yet refined, featuring darkened brows, muted smoky eyes, winged eyeliner, glossy pink lips, and blush-tinted cheeks.
A beam of highlighter and a flawless matte base completed the look, amplifying her ramp-ready charm.
Following her walk, fans flooded Lakmé’s Instagram page with praise for Aneet’s debut.
One admirer wrote, “It was her first time, and she wasn’t even a trained model. Yet her beauty, aura, and smile owned the spotlight. Let the haters bark.”
Another user commented, “Finally, a natural beauty debut with a real aura.”
Many applauded her confidence, with one fan noting, “She did so so well as a complete newcomer and outsider at this young age! Aneet Padda, proud of you.”
An Instagram user added, “Our girl’s first walk and that too with Tarun Tahiliani! Can’t be more grateful and happy.”
Beyond her fashion debut, Aneet also reflected on her personal journey in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan India, where she appeared as the cover star.
The 22-year-old actor recalled her first memory of acting at age ten, performing in a school play.
She described it as an “interesting way of being weird” that people surprisingly celebrated.
That experience, she shared, ignited her love for performance and storytelling.
However, Aneet admitted that her journey was not without struggle.
A lack of encouragement from friends and family once made her question her ambitions.
“For the longest time, I told myself, ‘You are so silly for even wanting to do anything about this.’ I stopped dreaming for a while,” she revealed.
At seventeen, she began searching online for auditions, unknowingly landing on several fake websites that exploited aspiring actors.
“Almost every production house in the Hindi film industry has my audition tape, a terrible biodata, and Snapchat filter pictures,” she laughed.
During the pandemic, she sent cold emails to nearly seventy production companies before learning that casting agencies handled legitimate auditions.
Her perseverance eventually paid off when she made her acting debut in Revathi’s Salaam Venky alongside Kajol and Vishal Jethwa.
The heartfelt drama introduced her as a promising newcomer with emotional depth.
But it was Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara that turned her into a household name.
The romantic drama became one of 2025’s biggest blockbusters, cementing Aneet’s status as a breakout star.
Her chemistry with co-star Ahaan Panday earned praise from industry heavyweights, including Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, and Mahesh Babu.
While Aneet has yet to announce her next film, anticipation continues to grow.
Her ramp debut with Tarun Tahiliani proves she is fast becoming a fashion favourite too.
