Ameesha Patel is set to join Pakistani actor Imran Abbas in Dubai to promote his film Jee Ve Sohneya Jee.
Ameesha shared the news on Instagram, expressing her excitement and support for Imran’s film.
She said: “Hi guys, this is Ameesha Patel and I am coming to Dubai on the 14th of February to the Dubai Mall at 5 pm to support my friend Imran Abbas’ beautiful film, Jee Ve Sohneya Jee.”
Ameesha described the film as “a beautiful magical love story with a beautiful musical journey”.
Imran, making his Punjabi film debut, will return to the Indian big screen after eight years.
He will be starring opposite Simi Chahal. The film is scheduled for release on February 16, 2024.
In her video message, Ameesha conveyed her eagerness to watch the romantic film, praising Imran’s performances in such love stories.
Imran Abbas reciprocated the sentiment, appreciating Ameesha’s support and expressing affection.
He reposted Ameesha’s Story with the words: “Love you, my dear Ameesha.”
The pair made headlines in 2022 when a viral video sparked dating rumours.
However, their friendship dates back to their time as fellow students in the United States, forming a lasting bond.
The duo’s connection gained attention during a heartwarming reunion in Bahrain, dismissing dating speculations.
Amidst dating rumours, Ameesha clarified: “I read them too and had a huge laugh about it.
“The whole thing is just crazy and full of silliness. I was meeting my buddy after so many years. So, it was just a catch-up.”
Addressing the viral video, Ameesha explained: “He happens to love that song of mine. It’s his favourite song.
“We just did an impromptu thing, which was recorded by a friend. It came out so cute, so we posted it. It was not planned.”
This cross-border friendship takes a heartwarming turn as Ameesha Patel is travelling to Dubai for her friend.
