Ali Zafar releases his new Single ‘Fade’

Ali Zafar, the internationally recognised artist, released his new single titled ‘Fade’, which marked a significant departure from his usual musical style.

This track offers an unfiltered look into the challenges and shadows that accompany fame.

Ali explained his motivation for ‘Fade,’ stating:

“I wanted to express the impact of this industry on one’s mental and emotional well-being.”

The song delved into themes of mental health and the pressures faced by artists in the entertainment industry.

‘Fade’ is not simply a song – it is a significant statement that reflected Ali’s journey.

The video features Ali’s life, Ayesha, which symbolised a source of comfort.

In a touching moment, Ali rests his head on her shoulder in the video.

The singer revealed: “Ayesha’s presence in the video symbolises the grounding force she has been for me.”

Ali recounted a pivotal moment when he was inspired by his struggles. As a result, he found himself compelled to write ‘Fade’. 

He said: “I’m no rapper, but one day, while going through a difficult time, words began to flow.

“I went straight to the studio and recorded them raw and unfiltered.”

“What you’ll hear is my truth, my vulnerability, and a decisive moment when I vowed to burn away anything that could consume me—memories, opinions, fears, past traumas.”

‘Fade’ is now available on all major streaming platforms, alongside the official music video on Ali’s YouTube channel.
