“Freddy is nearing a tough goodbye.”
Both Alaya F and Kartik Aaryan shared multiple photos and videos of their last day on the set of Freddy.
The duo posted a selfie together as well as photos with the film crew.
The romantic thriller film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films.
It is said to be packed with unpredictable twists and sharp turns.
Shooting for Freddy began in August 2021 and wrapped up on September 30, 2021.
Freddy was initially filmed in Mahabaleshwar and continued in Mumbai.
Taking to his Instagram, Kartik said:
“It’s a wrap!! A character that will always stay like a shadow with me #Freddy will see you at the theatres”
Kartik shared a carousel of eight photos and videos of his final day on the set to his 21.9 million Instagram followers.
The Pati Patni Aur Woh actor completed the shooting of Freddy’s climax scene days after wrapping up Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Kartik shared a photo on Instagram on September 25, 2021.
He captioned the post with: “Freddy is nearing a tough goodbye.”
Freddy will be Alaya’s second film. She made her Bollywood debut in 2020 with Jawaani Jaaneman.
Alaya also took to Instagram to share a series of photos and videos from the Freddy set.
In her caption, Alaya wrote: “Ready, steady Freddy!? IT’S A WRAP?
“The most wonderful set with the most wonderful people!
“Feeling super blessed and super grateful to be a part of this incredibly special film.”
Alaya also shared a video on Twitter, with the same caption, of the crew cutting the wrap-up cake.
Alaya and Kartik, along with the entire film crew, wore white t-shirts with Freddy written across the front.

Aside from Freddy, the actress will be seen in an untitled project with Anurag Kashyap and U-Turn alongside Ekta Kapoor.
U-Turn is a Hindi remake of a Telugu film of the same name.
Meanwhile, Kartik will next be seen in Dhamaka, set to premiere on Netflix in November 2021, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
The release date for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was recently announced.
The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor was trolled by some netizens following the release of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 motion poster.
Some netizens were not happy with Kartik playing the lead role, stating that they wanted Akshay Kumar back in the lead role for the sequel.
