An air hostess called out Kiara Advani for her rude behaviour onboard a flight she was working on.
Shilpa Kishore, who works for Etihad Airways, gave an interview where she detailed what it is like working as an air hostess.
She also shared some stories from her flights, revealing that high-profile stars have been passengers.
However, Shilpa was not impressed with Kiara Advani and explained what happened.
During the interview, Shilpa claimed that Kiara “has a lot of attitude”.
Shilpa admitted that she did not directly deal with the actress because she was not in that area of the plane, adding that her colleagues told her.
According to Shilpa: “My crew told me that they asked her if she wanted cashews or almonds.
“She was like, ‘No, can you please call my assistant, he will give me the cashews’.”
Shilpa went on to say that Kiara did not speak to her assistant afterwards.
The segment went viral and many called out Kiara for her diva-like behaviour.
One comment read: “Kiara is overhyped. I never liked her acting, nor do I like her as an actress. Sidharth [Malhotra] deserved better.”
Another said: “I never liked Kiara, she’s full of herself, especially after her marriage she’s also overhyped for both her looks and as an actress she keeps doing the same roles nothing new.”
A third added: “This sounds pretty accurate.”
Although the incident is based on the air hostess’ claims, another person’s account has added weight to Kiara’s apparently rude behaviour.
A Reddit user said they saw Kiara at a coffee shop and when she got up to leave, she dropped her lip balm and it fell to the user.
When the user repeatedly said she had dropped her lip balm, Kiara allegedly ignored them despite seeing them pick it up.
One of Kiara’s assistants then returned to collect the lip balm.
When asked why the lip balm was not collected straightaway, the assistant replied:
“Well, she is a celebrity. Hope you understand.”
The assistant then sanitised the lip balm in front of the person before returning to Kiara.
Shilpa also recalled a funny incident with Ananya Panday when she wanted to go to the washroom just before landing.
“While the crew was making sure that the rest of the passengers were in their seats, preparing for landing, Ananya told the flight attendants, “I really want to go to the washroom! I cannot handle it”.
Shilpa laughed and said the flight attendants just asked Ananya to hurry back.
