The trailer for season two of BBC’s World On Fire has been released and it features Ahad Raza Mir dodging enemy fire.
The series sees Ahad play Rajib, a fearless and determined leader of a specialist unit of the British Indian Army during World War II.
Given that the trailer is just 41 seconds long, Ahad’s role looks to be a significant one.
The drama focuses on World War II and features Royal Air Force pilots who take on German bombers and patrol the skies of Manchester.
Season one of the show was released in 2019 and had seven episodes, whereas season two will have six.
The first season revolved around the lives of people who resided in Great Britain, Poland, France, Germany and America in the midst of World War II.
The debut season focused on the hardships of individuals who lived and witnessed the war and the struggles they were faced with.
The second season of World On Fire concentrates on the impact of the war, focusing on the struggles of post-war Britain, Nazi Germany, occupied France and also the deserts of Africa.

Supporting storylines promise to take its viewers to India where British troops are shown joining the Indian Sappers and Australian Diggers, promoting an unparalleled viewpoint on warfare.
Ahad will star alongside the original cast of season one which consists of Lesley Manville (Robina), Jonah Hauer-King (Harry), Julia Brown (Lois), and Zofia Wichlacz (Kasia).
Mark Bonnar also joins the second season and takes on the role of the cryptic Sir James Danemere.
Gregg Sulkin plays the role of a courageous but carefree RAF pilot.
Miriam Schiweck also joins the cast and plays the part of a German teenager who is a part of the Band of German Maidens.
World On Fire season two is set to premiere on July 16, 2023.
Ahad Raza Mir’s international project comes a year after he starred in Netflix’s Resident Evil series, playing Arjun Batra.
