Jacqueline Fernandez revealed that she really slapped Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma in Cirkus.
The film is currently out in cinemas.
Ranveer plays a double role while the film also stars Pooja Hegde.
In the film, Jacqueline plays Ranveer’s girlfriend and she has to slap both Ranveer and Varun in a scene.
Jacqueline has now revealed that she slapped them for real, explaining the reason why.
She said: “I was so nervous on my first day of the shoot that I slapped Varun and Ranveer in the shot.
“I was so nervous that I didn’t act the slap scene but slapped them. And after that, I felt like I broke the ice.
“See we all broke the ice.”
After being slapped, Ranveer replied: “Yes. Broke the jaw line for which I required ice.”
Meanwhile, Varun said: “Yeah if you (showing his cheek) call this ice”.
Jacqueline was asked to talk about her first time working with Rohit Shetty after the trailer for her latest movie Cirkus was recently shown at a big trailer launch event.
Jacqueline shared: “I think all of us who have worked with sir for the first time, it has been a dream in the making.
“I think it’s on every single actor’s wishlist to work with Rohit Shetty.
“And it’s true, It’s not just his films that look larger than life, he also shoots larger than life.
“Everyone becomes a big family and he brings everyone so beautifully together, we had so much fun.”
In addition, Jacqueline Fernandez’s many vintage outfits from the movie have kept her admirers interested.
The actress recently released some images on social media where she is seen sporting a throwback style for the first time in a movie.
Cirkus, a movie directed by Rohit Shetty, takes place in the 1960s.
Despite being widely predicted to be a success, Cirkus has had a lacklustre opening weekend at the box office.
According to rumours, the film’s opening day box office total didn’t even reach double digits.
Cirkus made between Rs. 7 and 7.5 Crore (£753,000), according to a Boxofficeindia report.
Over the weekend, the movie is anticipated to get more viewers.
Regarding Jacqueline Fernandez’s working life, reports claim that she will be working with actor Arjun Rampal on the movie Crakk.
Crakk, directed by Aditya Datt, will be the first action movie on extreme sports to be made in India.
