“Yes, of course, I expect my movies to be successful, but sometimes that doesn’t happen, and sometimes it does, such is the nature of the business I am in.
“I can’t control the audiences, all I can do is make movies to the best of my ability and do what I feel is right.
“If it works, great, if it doesn’t, well I won’t let that put me down, I will just move on to the next thing.
“It’s a process, I love making movies, it’s my passion, and I’m not going to let anything stop me!”

What is your opinion of #BoycottBollywood?
“I absolutely do not agree with the sentiment to ‘boycott Bollywood’.
“Bollywood is a source of great pride and entertainment for many people across India and the world, and it is important that it be protected and nurtured so that it can continue to spread joy and happiness to people all over.
“Boycotting the film industry would be a disservice to the hard-working people who have dedicated their lives to bringing joy to others, and it would be a loss for the community at large.
“I hope that people will see the important role that Bollywood plays in Indian entertainment and culture, and will reject any moves to boycott it!”

“It’s about all those highs and lows of love and of emotions in a world where the love story is all about the man.
“And finally, it’s also a film about three women seeking adventure, seeking to travel and go to places in the world they’ve never been to and finding themselves through that.”
Would you describe yourself as a ‘Nepo Baby’?
“Absolutely not. I’m not a product of the nepotism that exists in the Bollywood industry.
