An internet chef sparked a furious online debate after he created a chocolate bar filled with chicken tikka masala.
While lots of people love both a curry and some chocolate, they tend to do so separately.
But Singh Laly took it upon himself to combine the two, appearing to take inspiration from the viral ‘Dubai Chocolate Bar’ that is packed with pistachios.
Restauranter Singh Laly, who is a viral chef in Germany, took to TikTok to share a video of his unique creation.
Singh began by decorating the chocolate bar mould with food colouring and a white chocolate drizzle.
He then melted milk chocolate and poured it to cover the tray completely before leaving it to set.
After it set, Singh spooned in chicken tikka masala and topped it with a layer of chocolate to complete the sweet and savoury creation.
He then let it set.
When it had set, Singh removed the dense chocolate bar from the mould and broke it in half, revealing the popular curry.
He gave some to his cameraman to try, who sounded like he enjoyed it.
While the cameraman appeared to enjoy the chocolate, viewers were largely horrified by the strange combination.
One person pointed out: “There’s a reason why he fed it to the cameraman and didn’t eat it himself.”
Another joked: “I think we humans need to stop thinking.”
A third bluntly said: “F*****g disgusting.”
One netizen was so shocked by Singh’s creation that they called for the chef to be “jailed”.
Others highlighted that it was similar to the ‘Dubai Chocolate Bar’ but claimed Singh’s creation would cause the popular pistachio treat to stop being produced.
One exclaimed: “Chicken Dubai CHOCOLATEEEE.”

The ‘Dubai Chocolate Bar’ has become a popular treat, with social media influencers trying it and filming their reactions.
It is shredded filo pastry with sweet syrup and filled with pistachio cream, tahini paste and knafeh dessert encased in chocolate.
Although the chicken tikka masala chocolate raised eyebrows, Singh Laly has previously recreated the viral pistachio chocolate.
With 145,000 TikTok followers, Singh Laly has become known for sharing his culinary creations, some more unique than others.
