Vicky Kaushal says he wants to Choreograph Katrina Kaif

Vicky Kaushal is currently on a promotional spree for ‘Govinda Naam Mera’. In a recent interview, he took a dig at Katrina’s dance skills.

Vicky Kaushal, in a recent interview, expressed his desire to choreograph his wife, Katrina Kaif.

Govinda Naam Mera stars Vicky, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani.

The trio are busy promoting the upcoming film, directed by Shashank Khaitan.

Vicky and Kiara play choreographers in the film.

In the interview, when asked the team about who would they like to choreograph from the film industry, Vicky said:

“I would like to choreograph Katrina Kaif, woh theek thaak dance karti hai (she dances really well).”

“Talented hai ladki, better kar sakti hai (She is talented and can do better).”

He smiled and added: “Bas aaj khana nahin milega (however, I won’t get food today).”

Vicky and Katrina got married on December 9, 2021, in Rajasthan in the presence of their families and close friends.

Vicky also answered personal questions like whether his life has changed after marriage.

He said: “Changed, I don’t know. Changed I feel is a very strong word to use very easily.

“It’s not changed, I would say life has evolved, life is better.”

“Sukoon hai, shanti hai (It’s calm and peaceful). It’s nice, it’s really nice.”

He also said: “Katrina Kaif is the wisest person”

When asked the choreography question, Kiara said: “I will choreograph Bhumi because she is waiting to dance, and we have lovely songs.”

“So I want to teach her all the hook steps of this.”

Meanwhile, Bhumi said she would like to choreograph Karan Johar.

To this, Kiara Advani commented: “He will reteach you the steps.”

Govinda Naam Mera is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions.

The film will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on December 9, 2022.

The film also features social media star Viraj Ghelani.

The plot of Govinda Naam Mera revolves around Vicky Kaushal, a choreographer, who is accused of killing his wife in a case, where there is no dead body.

Meanwhile, in another interview, Vicky also revealed the acting lesson that he learned from Shah Rukh Khan.

He said: “He (Shah Rukh Khan) told me there is always a grammar attached to every film and it comes with the director, what vision he has.”

“It is important to understand the grammar that the director is coming with and my job is to fully suspend myself.”

He added that this trick has now become an integral part of his process.

On the work front, Vicky will also be seen in director Meghna Gulzar’s next period biopic film Sam Bahadur.

The film stars Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra.
