TikTok personality Hakeem Shahzad, also known as Lohapar, has officially entered the political arena by contesting in NA-175.
The Muzaffargarh National Assembly seat fell vacant following the disqualification of Jamshed Dasti earlier in 2025.
Shahzad arrived to submit his nomination papers flanked by both of his wives, including TikToker Dania Shah.
Their public appearance instantly drew media attention and created a social media buzz.
Speaking to reporters, Shahzad said he feels a strong connection to Muzaffargarh because one of his wives is originally from there.
While addressing the press, he said: “Everyone in Muzaffargarh knows me, this place is not unfamiliar to me.”
He further claimed that his popularity extends far beyond Pakistan:
“People from the United States, Australia, and Brazil recognise me.”
He also insisted that the “entire community and public of Muzaffargarh” would support him during the by-election.
Shahzad is expected to face significant competition from heavyweight political parties.
These include the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Despite that, he expressed full faith in his ability to connect with the local population.
When asked about his campaign strategy, Shahzad confirmed Dania Shah would actively campaign by his side.
He added that there would be no objection to her involvement, highlighting that she remains a well-known face in the public eye.
Shahzad emphasised that all his wives, brothers, and extended family members will be supporting him.
He believes their unified presence will strengthen his outreach to the community and attract loyal voters.
His foray into politics comes on the heels of previous controversies, particularly involving his marriage to Dania Shah.
Shahzad had stirred online debate during an April 2025 podcast appearance, where he made blunt admissions about their relationship.
“I never loved Dania Shah. She and her mother approached me for legal help. She was attractive, but there was no love.”
He also added that he feared public gossip if he continued helping her without formalising the relationship.
The TikToker stated:
“So I decided to marry her instead.”
As the election draws closer, political observers are watching closely to see whether Shahzad’s fame translates into actual votes at the ballot box.
With his wives actively supporting his campaign and a growing public profile, Hakeem Shahzad’s political bid has grabbed public attention.
