The candidates who feature on the BBC’s business competition all compete fiercely to win Lord Alan Sugar’s investment.
However, sometimes, long-lasting relationships are formed on the show.
A key example is the union of the 2022 candidates Harpreet Kaur and Akshay Thakrar, who married in 2024.
The 2025 series of The Apprentice starred Amber-Rose Badrudin, who found a great friend in fellow candidate Jonny Heaver.
Amber-Rose and Jonny have made no secret of their friendship on social media.
The pair recently jetted off to Crete, Greece, for a holiday, and their posts from the trip are delighting fans.
Amber-Rose posted a series of TikTok clips in which she shared insights into her holiday with Jonny.
One of the clips was a montage of their time together. In a voiceover, Amber-Rose gushed:
“It’s crazy to think that Jonny and I met on a TV show, and now, over a year later, we are on our first holiday together.
“From the second I met this boy, I just knew I loved him so much.”
The businesswoman explained that the trip was a last-minute organisation, and she and Jonny went to the beach and spent time by the pool.
She also highlighted their shared fondness for grilled, steamed fish.
Amber-Rose continued: “Guys, when I tell you that this is my dream day and my dream meal, I’m not even exaggerating.
“I just love Greek hospitality. Everyone is so friendly here!”
Underneath the clip, a fan commented: “Please normalise boys and girls being FRIENDS.
“You have a really sweet friendship, though.”
To this, Amber-Rose responded: “Yes!”

In another video clip, The Apprentice stars were seen lip-syncing to a Punjabi song.
Amber-Rose dazzled in a light red gown, while Jonny looked dapper in a black shirt and white trousers.

Meanwhile, on The Apprentice, Jonny was fired in the sixth week.
On the other hand, Amber-Rose Badrudin made it through to the gruelling interview stage and was subsequently let go after Lord Sugar deemed her bubble tea business proposal unsuitable for the market.
The 2025 series was ultimately won by Dean Franklin.
When Jonny was fired, Amber-Rose wrote on Instagram: “Jonny boy, where do I start?! Your firing has to be the hardest one yet.
“If you know me, you know how much I LOVE Jonny.
“We were like two peas in a pod during the process.
“I instantly fell in love with his witty sense of humour, and our banter in between filming is what kept me going! RIP JONBER.
“Lots of love for you, it’s only the beginning.”
Meanwhile, after Amber-Rose’s firing aired, Jonny took to Instagram to congratulate his friend.
He said: “AR, I am just so proud.
“Saying you’re not going to stand out in the bubble tea market with one of the strongest personal brands I’ve encountered is a bit wild.
“But beyond that, what a joy it was watching you in the final five!
“When I first met you at the auditions, I was intimidated, and now, we have such a special bond.
“I don’t know what happened in Austria, but we left that country as bezzies.”
“What viewers don’t see in the edit is the human you are: altruistic, sensitive, compassionate, intelligent and too funny.
“I can’t wait to have 79654 more matcha lattes with you, and see you boss it with Oree Bubbles.
“So much love for you, AR. Keep being on brand.”
Despite being fired from The Apprentice, Amber-Rose opened her first bubble tea shop in Croydon.
The shop is called Oree Bubbles and it opened in May 2025.
Jonny Heaver was also present at the opening ceremony.
