"Congratulations on your new bubble tea shop."
Saturday, May 3, 2025, was a proud day for Amber-Rose Badrudin as the businesswoman opened her first bubble tea shop.
The shop is located in Croydon, UK, and is inspired by her business plan she pitched to Lord Alan Sugar while on The Apprentice 2025.
Amber-Rose is from London and owned an Asian convenience store named Oree Mart before entering the show.
She wanted Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment to help her scale her business interests in the bubble tea market.
However, Lord Sugar did not think that the market was suitable for investment, and hence, Amber-Rose was fired from the BBC’s competition in the eleventh week.
Shortly after her final episode aired, Amber-Rose revealed that she had secured a location and money for her first bubble tea shop without Lord Sugar’s investment, along with her business partner, Mike.
She added that she had been busily preparing for its opening day, filling her social media pages with updates and behind-the-scenes clips.
The opening day of Amber-Rose’s shop – named Oreebubbles – arrived on May 3.
The businesswoman took to her Instagram Story to share clips and photographs from the big event.
Several of her co-stars from The Apprentice were present at the opening day, including Jonny Heaver, Liam Snellin, and Chisola Chitambala.
One photograph on Amber-Rose’s Story showed her with Chisola and Liam at the checkout till of Oreebubbles. A bobblehead of Lord Sugar was in front of them.
Amber-Rose also shared another photograph of her posing with a visitor. The fan wrote:
“Congratulations on your new bubble tea shop.”
In March 2025, Amber-Rose Badrudin took to her Instagram profile to share the news of Oreebubbles.
Underneath a photograph of her in front of the developing shop, she wrote:
“I’ve been so excited about this project that we’ve been working on for a while now.
“When we first opened Oree Mart nearly three years ago, Mike and I had a small bubble tea stand within our ‘mini mart’.
“Then, when we expanded our store, we had to make the tough decision of removing the bubble tea stand.”
“The reason we did this was so that we could focus on rebranding into a ‘convenience store’ without having too many moving parts that would lead to diluting our vision.
“Our store wouldn’t have been able to keep up with the demand of bubble tea, as well as our ramen bar and groceries.
“It would get so hectic and busy in the shop!
“We’ve always had plans to ‘bring back’ the bubble tea and have received (not joking) THOUSANDS of comments from our customers for its return.
“So we thought, ‘Let’s do one better than just adding a stand within Oree Mart. Let’s make a whole new store dedicated solely to our bubble teas!'”
While cutting the ribbon of her first shop, Amber-Rose Badrudin waved at the crowd and said:
“A massive, massive thank you to each and every one of you who have come out to support us today.
“We are so incredibly overwhelmed by all the love and support you guys have shown us.
“We are blown away by how many of you guys have come out to support us.”
Meanwhile, Amber-Rose proved herself a worthy candidate on The Apprentice.
She was on the winning team seven times and only lost three tasks.
