"I don’t know what Shehnaaz’s particular talent is"
During a fiery rant on Twitter, Sona Mohapatra hit out at Shehnaaz Gill.
This comes after Shehnaaz stopped her singing performance at an event when she heard Azaan. She bowed her head and resumed her performance after the Azaan was over.
While fans lauded her, Sona criticised her, saying it reminded her of the time Shehnaaz showed her support for Sajid Khan when he entered Bigg Boss 16.
The singer took to Twitter to address the attention Shehnaaz received for her gesture.
Sona wrote: “All the Twitter adulation for Shehnaaz Gill’s act of ‘respect’ today reminded me of her ‘support’, ‘reverence’ and ‘glorification’ of a multiple accused sex offender and pervert Sajid Khan when he was platformed on national TV.
“Wished she had some respect for her sisterhood. #MeToo.”
Sona’s tweet received a lot of attention and many wondered why Sona was only targeting Shehnaaz when many other stars expressed their support for Sajid Khan.
Many netizens also trolled the singer.
One said: “A great way of promoting sisterhood by pulling down somebody to be in the limelight.”
Another wrote: “Who are you to speak anything against Shehnaaz.”
This prompted a response from Sona Mohapatra, who questioned Shehnaaz’s talent.
In another tweet, she said:
“Dear trolls trying to stand up for yet another starlet like Jacqueline (Fernandez), I don’t know what Shehnaaz’s particular talent is as of now, apart from low-brow reality TV fame.
“But I do know the modus operandi of women of convenience, shortcuts who bust the good fight for a role/money.”

Sona’s tweet angered Shehnaaz’s fans even more.
One user labelled Sona an “attention seeker” while another called her “bitter”.
One person wrote: “Sona, wished you had some logic to point out those people who actually have been supporting him, respecting him, hugging him.
“Why can’t you point those idiots out? Why not name them?
“Just because Sana is a soft target in the industry you can say anything.”
“Sana was invited by Colors for BB16. Go after those who have been praising Sajid openly.
“Why don’t you challenge ColorsTV, Endemol, other Khans and other BB16 contestants who are supporting him?
“Do you have that guts in you? I challenge you to tag them all.”
Meanwhile, Shehnaaz is working with Sajid Khan on his next film 100%, which also stars John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh and Nora Fatehi.
