“We don’t know much except that he had a cardiac arrest"
Famous Indian television actor Siddhaanth Surryavanshi died on November 11, 2022, at the age of 46.
The actor died while working out at a gym at 11 am, leaving behind his wife, Alesia Raut, and two children.
Actor Shaleen Malhotra has revealed that Sidhaanth has passed from experiencing a cardiac arrest:
“We don’t know much except that he had a cardiac arrest.
“I hope the family can take care of them, I can only pray for them. It was very unfortunate and unexpected.”
A close friend of Siddhaanth Surryavanshi and actress, Vishwapreet Kaur, recalled the event of him being rushed to Kokilaben Hospital:
“We don’t know much. We were supposed to meet today (Friday) after the gym.
“He even came to my place a few days ago. He is a very dear friend of mine.
“I used to tell him ki Yoga kar, stress kam hoga. He was my only friend. I’m in shock.”
Upon being asked if Siddhaanth was in stress, his dear friend Vishwapreet replied:
“Which actor isn’t? He was under a lot of stress. This city is stressful.”
Many of the actor’s previous co-actors have come out in shock to pay respects to him. Taking to Instagram, actor Jay Bhanushali, consoled Siddhaanth’s death.
In an Instagram story, Mr Bhanushali posted a photo of the Siddhanth and wrote: “gone too soon.”
Actor Gautam Rode, who worked with Suryavanshi in the television series Suryaputra Karn finds the news unbelievable:
“He played my dad in the show and was a soft-spoken, well-mannered guy.
“Very professional and kaam se kaam rakhne wala.
“He was quite fit so I don’t know what happened.
“There were no health concerns that I learnt about so the news is just so shocking.”
Former cricketer Salil Ankola also mourned the actor’s death. Writing to Instagram, Ankola said:
“Gone too soon. Rest in peace, my friend. No words to express my grief.”
After learning about the unfortunate news, actor Kishwer Merchant penned an emotional tribute for Siddhaanth. In an Instagram story, she wrote:
“Kya bolu main (what can I say)… this is shocking, numbing and just too sad!!
“Will never forget your loving hugs and warm smiles. RIP Anand prayers and strength to the family.”
Siddhanth Surryavanshi started his career as a model and then made his debut with Kkusum.
He was also a part of several other TV shows including, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Sufiyana Ishq Mera, Ziddi Dil Maane Na, and Waaris.
Siddhanth was previously married to media personality, Ira Chaudhary, whom he divorced in 2015.
He then tied the knot with supermodel Alesia Raut in 2017.
Siddhanth has a daughter from his first marriage, whilst Alesia Raut has a son from her previous marriage.
