“I really love spending time with my partner"
In a recent interview, Stree 2 star Shraddha Kapoor confirmed that she is in a relationship.
While rumours have linked her to screenwriter Rahul Mody, Shraddha has not publicly disclosed the identity of her boyfriend.
Shraddha expressed her happiness in spending quality time with her partner.
When discussing her relationship, she reflected on her romantic ideals:
“Maybe you will need my significant other in this conversation.
“I think I have a few Pisces traits, one wherein I definitely love the typical fairytale aspect of love, which is out of this world.
“You know the kind where you’re like as long as I have you, I don’t need anyone else.”
She elaborated on the joys of her relationship:
“I really love spending time with my partner and doing things with him like watching a movie, going for dinner, or travelling.
“I am generally someone who likes to spend time doing things together or even not doing things together.”
Shraddha also highlighted how important her relationships are to her.
“For instance, even with my school friends, if we don’t meet, it affects my mood.
“Yesterday, we had a family lunch, which was so uplifting and invigorating, and the same goes for my relationship.”
When questioned about her marriage plans, Shraddha shared her perspective on the institution of marriage.
She clarified that it isn’t about believing in marriage per se, but rather about finding the right person to be with.
The actress stated:
“If someone desires to get married that is wonderful but if they choose not to marry that is equally valid.”
Shraddha Kapoor was previously rumoured to have dated her Aashiqui 2 co-star Aditya Roy Kapur, but neither publicly addressed those speculations.
In November 2023, she was linked to Rahul Mody, with reports suggesting they grew close while working on Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
These rumours were further fuelled when Shraddha was seen wearing a chain with a pendant shaped like the letter ‘R’.
The two were also spotted together at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations.
It was reported that Shraddha also introduced Rahul to Aditya Roy Kapur during the celebration.
On the work front, Shraddha’s Stree 2 has made cinematic history, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.
It is also the ninth highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
