Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly taken to hospital following an accident at a film set in Los Angeles.

It was reported that he had been shooting when he suffered an injury. SRK underwent minor surgery as a result.

A source told ETimes: “SRK was shooting in Los Angeles for a project and he ended up hurting his nose.

“He began bleeding and was immediately rushed to hospital.

“His team was informed by the doctors that there was nothing to worry about and that King Khan would need to undergo minor surgery to stop the bleeding.

“Post the operation, SRK was spotted with a bandage on his nose.”

Shah Rukh Khan has now returned to India and is recuperating at home.

On the work front, Shah Rukh has had an excellent 2023.

After being absent from films for nearly five years, SRK returned with a bang in Pathaan.

Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the film has gone on to become the second highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, with only Dangal ahead.

The attention has now turned to Jawan.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan stars SRK, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.

With fans excited about the film, the makers have announced that the first trailer will debut during the theatrical release of Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

The film is scheduled to release in India on July 12, 2023, so fans can expect the Jawan trailer then.

Shah Rukh’s fans were initially disappointed when the megastar announced the postponement of Jawan from its original release date of June 2.

While the new release date is September 7, the trailer unveiling on July 12 will give the film a good two-month buildup up to its release on the occasion of Janmashtami.

His co-star Nayanthara revealed that some of her favourite films star Shah Rukh.

She revealed: “I guess, I have seen a lot of Hindi movies, almost all Hindi movies.

“Whichever movie’s name you say, I am sure, I have seen it.”

Talking about her favourite movie, Nayanthara said:

“Favourite there are lots. But, my all-time favourite would be Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

“There are a lot of movies that I like to see in some specific time.

“When I sometimes feel a little off or a little low, I watch different kinds of movies.

“In other mood conditions, when I am happy or… I like to see Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which is like my all-time favourite.”
