"I came here to win, and I won."
Sana Makbul won Bigg Boss OTT 3 as the reality show ended on a glamorous note.
She triumphed over rapper Naezy, actors Ranvir Shorey, Sai Ketan Rao, and content creator Kritika Malik to take home the trophy.
In addition to the trophy, Sana took home Rs. 25 Lakh (£23,000).
Reflecting on her time in the house, Sana said:
“In the Bigg Boss house, it’s all mixed emotions.
“The first two weeks everything seems fine; as the game progresses, things keep changing and people keep shifting.
“Those who used to sit together would speak badly about you, and those who weren’t sitting together would talk even more behind your back.
“There came a point when I was left all alone. Groups were forming in the house.
“Then a moment came when my friends started turning away, and it felt like the friends I had made, who used to understand me, pamper me, and make me laugh, were no longer there.”
“It felt good to be with them, to eat and drink with them; nothing else mattered because these four people were with me.
“But as they started leaving, it felt worse and the house seemed to be turning against me.
“But I think it’s the willpower that you have not to give up, and I was very focused.”
Despite feeling isolated at times, Sana Makbul remained focused:
“I came here to win, and I won.”
She dedicated her victory to Naezy, whom she became friends with.
On reaching the final, Naezy said: “I have no regrets.
“My friend (Sana Makbul) is the winner and I am extremely happy for her.
“She needed the trophy more than me. I won the hearts of people… for me, that matters the most.
“It’s a big thing for me to reach in top two. People gave me so much love. I will be forever indebted.”
However, one person Sana did not get on with was Ranvir Shorey.
During the show, the pair constantly clashed and made snide remarks towards each other.
One instance saw Sana age-shame Ranvir and mock his single status.
After Sana Makbul’s Bigg Boss OTT 3 victory, Ranvir gave his thoughts on her winning.
He said: “I don’t think she was the most deserving candidate, but one has to respect Bigg Boss’ decision and the voting. I always knew voting is my weak spot.
“My objective was to make it to the finale so that I can experience the whole show.
“I made it to top 3 despite not having a proper PR or management team at the moment.
“I think I have done well. As far as Sana winning is concerned, this show is unpredictable and it has shown us that by her win. But I certainly congratulate her.”
