"A tiny dictator in the making."
Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) is known for its diverse mix of contestants.
Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, the hugely popular Indian game show is currently airing its 17th season.
Amitabh recently presented a child in the hot seat. The contestant was called Ishit Bhatt.
However, Ishit displayed behaviour on the show which has been slammed by netizens as being rude and overconfident.
The livid fans were also angered by the way Ishit spoke to Amitabh.
Clips of the child contestant have since been circulating on social media.
One clip showed Ishit begin by declaring: “I know the rules, so don’t start explaining them to me.”
When Amitabh asked him the first question, Ishit interrupted and said: “I know the answer without the options.”
This exchange was repeated during the second question.
For the next question, Amitabh asked Ishit how many kings were usually on a chessboard at the start of a game.
Ishit shot back: “Sir, is this even something you should ask? There are only two.”
Amitabh calmly replied: “That might be, but can I give you the options?”
The veteran actor addressed the camera and said: “He doesn’t even need the options.
“He answers the questions before they are asked.”
Ishit almost shouted: “Sir, ask the questions!”
The contestant ultimately failed on the next question, which was: “What chapter does the Valmiki Ramayana begin with?”
Visibly uncertain, Ishit demanded: “Options?”
To this, Amitabh seemed taken aback. He said: “You’re not the only smart one.”
Ishit confidently asked Amitabh to lock the wrong answer.
He said: “Sir, put four locks on it.”
After answering the question incorrectly, the ten-year-old left KBC with no prize money.
Most satisfying climax in KBC history…

When the video clips of Ishit emerged online, fans did not hold back.
One user said: “Like if you want to slap this kid like me.”
Another said: “Educate children, but give them good values too.”
However, some viewers blamed Ishit’s parents.
One of them wrote: “Blame the parents. Raise a child without humility, patience, or manners, and you get a tiny dictator in the making.
“Losing even a single rupee? Bet it stings more than a reality check ever could.”
Another said: “The way he behaved in front of Amitabh Bachchan – it would make anyone angry.
“But Amitabh Bachchan handled it with complete calm and grace, reacting normally to the boy’s rudeness.
“The boy is at fault, yes, but the biggest fault lies with his parents.”
Meanwhile, Amitabh responded to the contestant’s attitude by saying:
“Sometimes children make mistakes due to overconfidence.”
