Her goal for this film is to showcase the Pakistani Punjabi diaspora.

Reham Khan is all set to make a grand comeback in the cinematic realm.

Her latest endeavour is a Pakistani-Punjabi film which will mark her re-entry into the world of entertainment.

She revealed her second feature film: Cheema, Chattha and Bajwa, during an episode of the Hafiz Ahmed Podcast.

Not many people know that Reham Khan was the producer behind the successful 2016 movie Janaan.

The film featured Armeena Rana Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Ali Rehman Khan, Hania Aamir and Ajab Gul.

It tackled the issue of child abuse and was set in the picturesque Swat Valley.

Janaan achieved significant success at the box office, raking in an impressive PKR 30 Crore (£84,000).

Cheema, Chattha and Bajwa will focus on Punjabi individuals who have established their lives in countries like Canada and the UK.

The theme of Punjabi citizens residing abroad has been a recurring subject in films originating from Indian Punjab for numerous years.

Indian Punjabi movies have been doing really well in Pakistani cinemas too.

For example, Carry on Jatta 3 made more than PKR 30 Crore at the box office in 2023.

In Cheema, Chattha and Bajwa, Reham Khan is not only producing but is also credited as a writer.

Her goal for this film is to showcase the Pakistani Punjabi diaspora. It is similar to how the Indian Punjabi community has globally shared its culture.

She provided details, mentioning that although the storyline is mostly finalised, the team is currently engaged in the casting process.

Specifically, they are on the lookout for the perfect Pakistani Punjabi hero.

Ideally, he should be in the age range of 26 to 27 years, to bring the narrative to life on screen.

There is no confirmed release date at the moment.

It is anticipated that Cheema, Chattha and Bajwa will likely have an international premiere, extending beyond the borders of Pakistan.

Fans are very excited for the film.
