"now you have also become shameless."
Rashmika Mandanna was subjected to trolling for her revealing black dress.
The actress attended the Zee Cine Awards and ended up winning ‘Best Bollywood Debut’ for her film Goodbye, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan.
On social media, she wrote: “A very very special day, got an award, had a performance… feel absolutely grateful for everything and everyone in my life.”
But it was her bold outfit that received the most attention.
For the event, Rashmika wore a strapless lace mini dress by Tal Kedem Bridal Couture. The dress was semi-sheer in parts while it also showed off Rashmika’s toned legs.
The dress featured a flowing train, adding even more extravagance.
She paired the outfit with brown heels.
Meanwhile, her hair was styled in a messy bun while her makeup consisted of smoky eyeshadow and a light pink lip shade.
For accessories, Rashmika opted for a variety of earrings and a couple of rings.
Her look went viral and some were impressed.
One said: “National crush Rashmika Mandanna kills it in this specially designed black gown.”
Another commented: “Gorgeous look.”
A third wrote: “Queen of my heart.”
A user said: “Your hotness has set Instagram reels on fire.”
However, many netizens were unimpressed, mainly due to the revealing nature of the dress. As a result, users trolled the actress.
One asked Rashmika: “Don’t you have money to buy clothes?”
Another said: “How you are able to walk and sit in this kind of outfit?”
One angry user wrote: “The whole world is full of shameless people, now you have also become shameless.
“There is a limit, you should have done something, it is completely open.
“In future, you will dance naked. Very shameless.”
Some compared Rashmika to Uorfi Javed, who is known for her bold fashion choices.
A user wrote: “You are also becoming Uorfi Javed, be like before.”
Another said: “Uorfi version two.”
A third commented: “You and Urfi are both the same same.”
Others believed that Bollywood is obsessed with wearing revealing clothing, with some accusing Rashmika of changing her ways since venturing into the industry.
One person said:
“Don’t know why Bollywood is concerned so much about exposure.”
Another urged: “Rashmika, please don’t let the South be affected like Bollywood. You look good in your culture.
One comment read: “I used to tell everyone that someone should learn how to wear clothes from the South, but now the South people also have started wearing such clothes.”
Rashmika Mandanna previously revealed how she deals with hate. She said:
“I realised that us being actors, we can’t expect people to only like us.
“You’re not going to pay everyone’s cup of tea. So, there’s going to be a lot of hate. There’s going to be a lot of love.
“But people are going to end up talking about you. Yeah! We’re public figures. We are talking to the public. We are out there. We are promoting our films. We are doing interviews.”
