Raaka continues to generate buzz even a year before its theatrical release.
The pan-India film marks Telugu star Allu Arjun’s first-ever collaboration with director Atlee.
The film has now set a new Guinness World Record ahead of its release.
It achieved the record for “Most People Motion Captured in Real Time” with 37 performers.
All 37 performers were captured simultaneously, making the achievement especially notable.
Sun Pictures, the makers of the film, shared this update on X.
Allu Arjun was pictured holding the Guinness World Record certificate alongside director Atlee.
The caption read: “HISTORY MADE. A global triumph that takes Indian cinema to the world stage!
“Raaka sets a Guinness World Record for the ‘Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time’, with 37 performers captured simultaneously!
“Mr Allu Arjun and Mr Atlee received the Guinness World Records certificate, marking this historic achievement.”
The official Guinness World Records website also confirmed details about this record-breaking feat.
It stated: “The most people motion-captured in real-time is 37 and was achieved by Sun TV Network Limited and V.
“Arunkumar (alias) Atlee (both India) for the movie ‘RAAKA‘ starring Allu Arjun in Mumbai, India on 15 September 2026.”

A few days earlier, Cibi Chakaravarthi had also spoken about the film during an event.
He spoke about Atlee’s upcoming film starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
Cibi said: “I have seen the visuals of his films; he showed them to me.
“Sir, I don’t think even Avatar has visuals like that.
“Everyone will see what I’m talking about in three days. The visuals were extraordinary.”
He also compared director Atlee to filmmaker SS Rajamouli during his remarks, saying:
“I also want to say something.
“Much like how Rajamouli sir is taking Indian cinema to the next level, I believe Atlee sir will take Indian cinema to the global map.
“I feel so proud to be your student.”
Lyricist Vivek also spoke at the event, claiming he had only seen such visuals in Hollywood films.
The first look of Raaka was revealed on April 8, 2026, which happens to be Allu Arjun’s birthday.
In the first look, he appeared bald with kohl eyes, sporting animal claws while staring into the camera.
After revealing the first look, Atlee shared his thoughts about the project on X.
He wrote: “Raaka isn’t just a film… it’s a part of me I’ve carried for years.
“For 18 years, I held on to one idea, never letting it fade.
“It tested me, shaped me, and stayed with me through everything.
“And honestly… this is just the beginning.”
Raaka is directed by Atlee and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner.
The film stars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone together in the lead roles.
The film is currently expected to release sometime during the year 2027.
Promotional materials so far have strongly hinted that Raaka could be a creature film.
