"Watch the finale before anyone else"
The creators of the popular Pakistani drama serial Parizaad have revealed that the finale is set to screen in cinemas.
Parizaad’s highly-anticipated final episode will be released in cinemas on January 22, 2022 – three days before its television release.
Nasar Khan, Hum Network’s PR Manager, said:
“It’s definitely confirmed. The last episode of Parizaad will be screened nationwide in cinemas.
“The release date for cinemas is January 22nd and the TV on-air date is January 25th.
“The finale will come out in cinemas three days before it’s aired on TV.”
Directed by Shehzad Kashmiri, Parizaad is based on Hashim Nadeem’s novel of the same name.
The story revolves around a dark-skinned titular character, played by Ahmed Ali Akbar, who is constantly disregarded and treated poorly by people around him.
The drama unfolds an interesting and unconventional story about the struggles of Parizaad as he navigates life.
In an Instagram post, Hum TV shared the news with its 3.5 million followers.
In the caption, the television network wrote: “Watch the finale before anyone else in cinemas near you on Saturday, 22nd January 2022.”

Ahmed Ali Akbar stars in Parizaad alongside Nauman Ijaz, Syed Muhammad Ahmed, Urwa Hocane, Saboor Aly, Ushna Shah and Yumna Zaidi.
Mashal Khan, Tipu Shah, Kiran Tabeer, Leyla Zuberi, Madiha Rizvi and Malik Hamid Raza also make appearances in the drama.
Ahmed Ali Akbar’s previous drama Ehd-e-Wafa’s last episode was also screened in cinemas.
The cinema screening attracted a large number of fans and the Parizaad showing is expected to follow suit.
Parizaad is without a doubt one of the most popular Pakistani drama serials.
Some brands in Pakistan have launched unofficial merchandise dedicated to the drama.
On January 5, 2022, Ahmed Ali Akbar took to Instagram to share a post in which his face had been added to a crisp packet.
Ahmed’s post went viral and has since amassed over 115,000 likes.

The drama gained traction in India after Manish Malhotra used the instrumental version of Parizaad’s opening song for his clothing campaign in November 2021.
Overjoyed fans of both the drama and the designer were delighted that the serial is not only reaching new heights in Pakistan but is also making its way across the border.
Parizaad is one of the very few serials that has been appreciated for its quality and the importance given to Urdu literature.
