"No husband does that."
In the latest development of Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir’s rumoured separation, the actor was absent from his sister-in-law’s wedding festivities.
Saboor Aly and Ali Ansari were joined by their family and friends for an intimate Mayun ceremony on January 5, 2022.
While elder sister Sajal was seen front and centre of the Mayun ceremony, her husband Ahad was nowhere to be seen.
Ahad’s absence from the wedding festivities of Saboor Aly and Ali Ansari comes after the actor seemingly skipped Sajal’s Khel Khel Mein premiere.
Ahad’s family also did not attend the premiere despite having a close relationship with Sajal.
When asked why Ahad Raza Mir didn’t attend the premiere, Sajal Aly said:
“Ahad is at work, he is not in Pakistan so that is why he is not here.”
However, fans were not convinced with the actress’ response as Ahad was spotted at a party in Karachi around the same time.
Ahad Raza Mir was also not seen at Saboor Aly’s Baat Pakki ceremony.
The Ehd-e-Wafa actor’s absence from such events has added to the rumours of separation from Sajal Aly.
In a viral video shared by various social media accounts, Sajal can be seen applying haldi on her brother-in-law and sister.
The video prompted fans of the couple to question Ahad’s absence.
One user wrote: “Where is Ahad? He should be sitting next to Sajal.”
Another added: “Ahad is incomplete without Sajal. We want to see them together.”
A third commented “I will lose all respect for Ahad Raza Mir and his family if they are not present at Saboor’s wedding.
“No husband does that. It’s a shame how they can attend every stupid event in Pakistan but not something so important for Sajal.
“They will be confirming separation rumours through this which is a horrible way to break the news.
“Why does Sajal have to face all the scrutiny and speculation?
“Disappointed in the Mirs for their silence and lack of support for her.”
According to reports, Ahad Raza Mir is currently in Dubai, however, it is unclear if the actor is there for work purposes or leisure.
Meanwhile, Sajal Aly recently opened up about Ahad’s “rushed” proposal, explaining how the actor wanted to get married quickly in fear of losing her.
Sajal said: “I asked Ahad why he had been in such a hurry to get engaged.
“He told me that he had been afraid that, if he didn’t ask me to marry him, he would lose me, and I would marry someone else.”
The actress also revealed that the couple has decided to take a break from joint projects.
Sajal said: “I thought that Dhoop Ki Deewar had a simple story and I would be working with a great team.
“But Ahad and I did decide that we had been acting together far too frequently and that we should take a break from it, unless, of course, the sort of story comes along that we can’t resist.”
