Footage shows a young man and woman engaged in sex
The University of Okara is in the headlines for controversial reasons after two students were caught having sex on the rooftop of one of the institution’s buildings.
Drone footage captured the sexual encounter.
It was reported that a group of students filmed and shared the explicit video online, causing embarrassment for the university.
The University of Okara has subsequently filed an FIR against the group.
Grainy footage shows a young man and woman engaged in sex against the side of a wall near the rooftop entry.
Meanwhile, “Academic Block I” and “University of Okara” can be clearly seen.
The FIR identified Ali Raza and two drone operators named Ali Shaan and Saumiya.
It is believed that they are not students at the university.
According to the FIR, the trio entered the university without permission and used a drone to film the sex video and share it online, damaging the university’s reputation.
However, the couple are yet to be identified by the university administration.
A special committee has been formed to look into the matter.
The University of Okara’s administration has urged the police to arrest the accused and has also taken disciplinary action.
This includes suspending a public relations officer and a security officer. Two daily wage employees have also been sacked.
The Deputy Registrar confirmed that an initial investigation into the matter has been conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) office, with information being collected from university officials and staff.
UrduPoint conducted an interview with Ali Shaan, who revealed that Ali Raza is a friend who invited him to the university.
According to Shaan, Raza told him that he was throwing a party and wanted it to be filmed.
On how he entered the building, Shaan said:
“Our OCM card is made for the cameraman. We went there, a guard stopped us.
“We said we are going there, a party is going on. We have to go there for coverage.”
After presenting the card, they were let in.
Shaan explained that students were partying in various classrooms.
But when it came to shooting the building’s exterior, a couple having sex on the rooftop were inadvertently filmed.
He went on to claim that he did not see the amorous couple in the footage and sent it to university students, who subsequently shared it.
