A Pakistani student has alleged that she was gang-raped by her classmates, who also filmed the assault.

The university student was allegedly subjected to the horrific crime at a flat in Islamabad.

The flat is situated in Sector E11, a locality within the federal capital known for educational institutions and residential areas.

The victim, whose identity remains confidential for safety, demonstrated immense courage by filing a complaint at Shalimar Police Station.

She sought justice for the heinous crime perpetrated against her.

According to the victim’s police statement, the accused individuals not only raped her but also filmed the incident.

This despicable act of recording the assault further compounded the Pakistani student’s trauma.

The suspects then threatened to release the video if she dared to disclose the incident to anyone.

This added an additional layer of fear and manipulation to her ordeal.

Upon receiving the victim’s complaint, officers from Shalimar Police Station wasted no time in registering a case. They initiated a thorough investigation.

The authorities understand the gravity of the situation and the urgent need to bring the perpetrators to justice.

This incident has sparked widespread outrage and demands for justice from various segments of society.

Advocacy groups, human rights organisations and concerned citizens have rallied together.

They demand swift and thorough investigations to ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable for their actions.

The incident has also shed light on the urgent need for educational institutions to implement robust policies.

Regrettably, this incident is not an isolated one within the jurisdiction of the Shalimar Police Station and Sector E-11.

Tragically, just a month prior to this incident, on January 11, another girl came forward with allegations of gang rape.

This incident had also occurred in the same neighbourhood.

The victim in this case, whose identity remains protected, identified a young man named Zeeshan as the primary perpetrator.

She claimed that Zeeshan was accompanied by two other individuals.

They then forcibly assaulted her at gunpoint after luring her into a car and driving her to the E-11 centre.

The recurrence of such horrific incidents within a relatively short span of time is concerning.

It highlights the pressing need for comprehensive measures to prevent and address sexual violence.

It remains to be seen if strict punishment will be exercised towards the perpetrators.
