A Pakistani girl was allegedly raped at her apartment in the upscale Defence Housing Authority in Karachi.

She was then left unconscious and naked at the nearby Sea View beach in the early hours of Sunday, July 14, 2019.

It is believed that the girl was raped by the suspect after being drugged. The 21-year-old victim was then dumped on the beach.

Officers patrolling the beach found the naked girl by the seashore on the morning of Sunday, July 14.

The victim was still unconscious when she was taken to the hospital. The young woman stated that she remembered waking up in ward number five of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre on the morning of July 14.

Police officers visited the victim in the hospital where she explained what had happened to her.

She explained that her friend Kiran had come over to her apartment. Kiran’s boyfriend Ali also visited the apartment.

The three of them had dinner together. In the First Information Report (FIR), the victim believed she was drugged as she started to feel drowsy and sick shortly after dinner.

The Pakistani girl soon fainted and drifted in and out of consciousness. She then claimed that she was “repeatedly” raped by Ali while her friend was present in the apartment.

Ali had ripped the victim’s clothes off before sexually assaulting her multiple times.

Following the rape, Ali and Kiran allegedly took the young woman to Sea View beach after her condition deteriorated.

They left the unconscious victim on the beach without any clothes and fled the area.

The victim then explained that she could not remember anything else until she woke up in the hospital.

Based on her complaint, officers from Darakshan Police Station registered a case under several sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The case was registered against Kiran and Ali for their roles in the alleged incident.

The Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr Syed Kaleem Imam, heard about the incident and took notice. He requested officers to provide him with details about the case.

He directed a team of officers to investigate the case and to gather sufficient evidence. IGP Imam also stated that they get results based on the girl’s statement.

The Tribune reported that IGP Imam also stressed that the priority is to arrest the suspects and to book them as soon as possible.
