the stall owner and his brother attacked the young men

Two young Pakistani brothers from Raiwind were brutally murdered by street vendors after a petty dispute of just thirty rupees.

The horrifying incident, which unfolded on August 21, 2025, quickly went viral after videos of the brutal torture circulated widely online.

In the disturbing footage, both brothers could be seen lying in a pool of blood as vendors armed with bats beat them mercilessly.

Dozens of passersby were present at the scene, yet very few intervened to stop the savagery being carried out in broad daylight.

One of the brothers succumbed to his injuries on the spot, while the second brother passed away later.

A First Information Report was registered at Raiwind City Police Station on August 22, 2025, following a complaint by the victims’ father.

The FIR mentioned that the brothers had stopped at a fruit stall while returning home, which led to a heated dispute.

According to their father, the stall owner and his brother attacked the young men and later called other vendors to join.

The father said he managed to reach the scene with the help of locals and rescued his sons, though both were gravely injured.

The suspects fled the area after the assault while allegedly issuing threats, further terrifying the victim’s family and local community members.

Police confirmed the case had been filed under sections pertaining to rioting, unlawful assembly, and murder under the Pakistan Penal Code.

On August 26, 2025, the family’s lawyer, Ahmed Ali Awan, confirmed that the primary suspect had been arrested.

He has reportedly been handed over to the Crime Control Department.

Mr Awan also said another suspect remains in police custody while raids are being conducted to capture the rest of the accused.

The father of the deceased brothers has demanded justice, urging law enforcement agencies to ensure swift punishment for the perpetrators involved.

This latest incident echoes a growing pattern of mob violence and unchecked brutality that has repeatedly surfaced across Pakistan in recent years.

In June 2025, Karachi police apprehended a suspect and his employees after they were filmed beating a citizen, sparking public outrage nationwide.

Social media has amplified public pressure in such cases, forcing authorities to act only after the brutality becomes visible to a wider audience.

The shocking murder of two innocent brothers over a trivial dispute underscores the urgency for stricter enforcement and community vigilance in Pakistan.
