"how did you end up meeting boys from outside?”

Nikki Tamboli revealed that she had a “possessive boyfriend” in college.

She went on to say that when her family found out, they stopped her from going to college. But despite that, Nikki did not break up with him.

The reality TV star spoke about the consequences she faced because of that relationship.

In an interview, Nikki said: “Yeah, I had a possessive boyfriend in my college.

“But when my family found out, they stopped me from going to college.”

On why her family had such an extreme reaction, Nikki said:

“He was not from my college, he was an outsider.

“My father said, ‘You go to college to study, then how did you end up meeting boys from outside?”

Nikki remained in the relationship but she has since moved on.

Nikki Tamboli appeared on Bigg Boss 14 and was later seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.

She ended up quitting most of the stunts and was the first one to be evicted.

In an Instagram post, Nikki said:

“#timingiswrong It’s as difficult to describe in words as it was to perform that difficult stunt out there.

“I know this came as a shock to all my fans and I too was disappointed about it but more than that I want to say sorry and thank you to Rohit sir that in spite of such motivation and mentoring I couldn’t make it and did abort the stunt.”

Her appearance on Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 prompted controversy as she appeared on the show just days after her brother’s tragic death.

She previously opened up about his death and said that because her priority is her parents, she wants to be in a committed relationship as opposed to a casual one.

Nikki had said:

“I am not up for casual dating or time pass relationships. I want to be in a committed relationship.”

“But right now, I don’t have time.

“Right now, professionally I am doing good and it takes a lot of patience and energy to find a balance between personal and professional life, so I don’t want to focus on anything else.

“My parents are growing old and I have to look after them, they are my priority now.

“After my parents, work comes for me.

“I don’t think I can give someone else that priority right now.”
