"I am very impressed with this side of Nawaz"

It has been reported that Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya wants to get back with her actor husband and end all grievances.

In May 2020, Aaliya had filed for divorce. She had sent Nawazuddin a legal notice, demanding maintenance from him over issues related to their marriage.

She had alleged that she was unable to pay their children’s school fees as the Bollywood star had stopped giving her monthly allowance.

During the legal battle, Nawazuddin’s lawyer had rejected the claims.

Now, it seems that Aaliya has had a change of heart and has stated that she does not intend to divorce her husband.

She revealed that Nawazuddin has been looking after their children as she has been battling Covid-19.

When asked why she is willing to get back with her husband after accusing him of being a bad husband and father, she replied:

“For the last 10 days, I have been battling the Covid-19 virus, which is the reason I have been living in isolation in my house in Mumbai.

“Nawaz, who is currently busy shooting in Lucknow, is taking care of our children Yaani Siddiqui and Shora Siddiqui.

“Despite being extremely busy, Nawaz is taking good care of both our children including their education and other needs.

“Not only this, he often calls me and enquires about my health and needs.

“I am very impressed with this side of Nawaz and it touched my heart.

“Earlier, he was never able to pay attention to his children. But now, I am really surprised to see him like this.”

Aaliya had previously accused Nawazuddin of never being there for their children.

She had even alleged that she was hit by his brother.

In response, Nawazuddin Siddiqui sent a legal notice to his wife, accusing her of “engaging in fraud, willful and planned defamation and slander of character”.

In his notice, he asked his wife not to make defamatory comments against him and also requested that she submit a written statement about what she said:

Aaliya was also asked whether she and her husband were talking about their issues. She told ABP:

“Both me and Nawaz will try together to remove all the problems between us.

“Going forward, we will sort all the problems and misconceptions. We have been talking about this.”

Following Aaliya’s statements, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is yet to respond.
